University of Tennessee Band Tower and Pavilion

– Education & Parks + Rec –

The University of Tennessee Band Tower and pavilion are located on the intramural fields of the UT campus. The tower provides band officials with a bird’s-eye view of the award-winning Pride of the Southland marching band as they practice formations and drills. The 2,100 square foot open-air pavilion offers protection from the elements during practice sessions and will also serve as a venue for various campus events. HSG was responsible for designing and detailing the foundations, steel, and masonry construction for both structures.
