Kim Wilt

director of business operations

WHERE DID YOU GO TO SCHOOL?
Palm Beach State College

WHO OR WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO GO INTO BUSINESS OPERATIONS?
Business operations has been the foundation of my career, where I've built a reputation for keeping organizations running efficiently and driving operational excellence. I thrive on creating structure, improving processes, and supporting every aspect of the business—from HR, AR/AP, graphic design and marketing, and IT support to cross-functional coordination and day-to-day operations. I'm at my best when I'm solving problems, streamlining workflows, and ensuring teams have what they need to succeed while keeping the business moving forward.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE IN KNOXVILLE? WHY?
My favorite place in Knoxville is the Tennessee Theatre. Its stunning architecture and lively performances always amaze me.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE BOOK OR MOVIE?
I could watch the last three Star Wars films and all the Marvel movies on repeat. With epic battles, sharp one-liners, and lessons on resilience and teamwork, it’s like therapy... with explosions.

IF YOU COULD HAVE LUNCH WITH ANY ONE PERSON, WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY?

If I could have lunch with anyone, it would be my mom. She passed in early 2016, and I miss her every day, especially her wicked sense of humor. I’d love to sit with her again, swap stories, play cards, and just laugh one more time.

WHATS ON YOUR ‘BUCKET LIST?’
I’d love to see a live taping of Saturday Night Live and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon; both would be such a blast to experience in person. I’ve got several places I’d love to travel to, with plenty more things I hope to do.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO FOR FUN?

I enjoy drawing and painting to unwind, playing pool, spending time with family over cards and board games, and exploring immersive video games. I appreciate activities that let me be creative, challenge my thinking, and connect with others.

WHAT ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT?
I’m truly passionate about my two daughters and grandchildren. They are my heart and my soul, and I couldn’t be more proud of all they’ve become. They are what truly matters most to me.

IF YOU COULD ONLY EAT ONE MEAL FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

This one’s easy: a wedge salad with blue cheese and balsamic dressing, followed by a filet mignon au poivre, lyonnaise potatoes, and burgundy mushrooms. For dessert, I’d go with a classic crème brûlée.

WHAT THREE WORDS BEST DESCRIBE YOU?

Loyal, Humorous, Resilient
