Kim Wilt

office manager

WHERE DID YOU GO TO SCHOOL?
Palm Beach Junior College

WHO OR WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO GO INTO ADMINISTRATION?
I didn’t plan to pursue office administration; it was something I stepped into out of necessity. Over time, I grew to enjoy the structure, problem-solving, and behind-the-scenes work. Managing tasks like AR/AP, creating marketing materials, supporting teams, and troubleshooting IT kept me engaged. What keeps me in this field is being the go-to person who keeps everything organized and moving forward.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE IN KNOXVILLE? WHY?
My favorite place in Knoxville is the Tennessee Theatre. Its stunning architecture and lively performances always amaze me. I especially love seeing Brit Floyd there every summer.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE BOOK OR MOVIE?
I could watch the last three Star Wars films and all the Marvel movies on repeat. With epic battles, sharp one-liners, and lessons on resilience and teamwork, it’s like therapy… with explosions.

IF YOU COULD HAVE LUNCH WITH ANY ONE PERSON, WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
If I could have lunch with anyone, it would be my mom. She passed in early 2016, and I miss her every day, especially her wicked sense of humor. I’d love to sit with her again, swap stories, play cards, and just laugh one more time.

WHATS ON YOUR ‘BUCKET LIST?’
I’d love to see a live taping of Saturday Night Live and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon; both would be such a blast to experience in person. I’ve got several places I’d love to travel to, with plenty more things I hope to do.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO FOR FUN?
For fun, I enjoy drawing and painting to unwind, playing pool, and cards and games with family. I also love video games, from Xbox to adventures on my Meta Quest

WHAT ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT?
I’m truly passionate about my two daughters and grandchildren. They are my heart and my soul, and I couldn’t be more proud of all they’ve become. They are what truly matters most to me.

IF YOU COULD ONLY EAT ONE MEAL FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
This one’s easy: a wedge salad with blue cheese and balsamic dressing, followed by a filet mignon au poivre, lyonnaise potatoes, and burgundy mushrooms. For dessert, I’d go with a classic crème brûlée.

WHAT THREE WORDS BEST DESCRIBE YOU?
Loyal
Humorous
Resilient.
