I went to school at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
WHO OR WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO GO INTO ENGINEERING?
I have a Marketing and Communications degree and was looking to take the next step in my career with a retail background. I was the assistant manager for Free People and I wanted to explore more of the ops side of a business in a new setting! I’m very excited to learn more about Engineering in the process.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE IN KNOXVILLE? WHY?
My favorite place socially in Knoxville is any smaller, trendy bar in either the Old City or South Knoxville Sevier Ave. Two of my favorites are Tern Club and Fly By Night, a 70’s themed bar with a disco ball and dancing! They’re owned by the same people and really unique.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE BOOK OR MOVIE?
It’s always impossible for me to pick a favorite movie but I just rewatched Wicked and stoked for Wicked: For Good later on this month! I’m a huge Ariana Grande fan and think she’s one of the most talented singers and actors! (They sing live in both Wicked movies)
IF YOU COULD HAVE LUNCH WITH ANY ONE PERSON, WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
If I could have lunch with any one person I think I would have to choose any of my great grandmothers when they were young.
WHATS ON YOUR ‘BUCKET LIST?’
My bucket list is continuing traveling to new places whether that be a new state, country or city I love experiencing new cultures and seeing the world for what it is!
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO FOR FUN?
I love being social (most of the time) with friends and family, sitting with my adopted doggie, currently playing NYT daily crosswords and spelling bee games and going to the Cinebarre movie theatre!
WHAT ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT?
I’m mostly passionate about making positive impacts in people’s lives, tiny dogs and most definitely fashion. I’ve essentially been creating outfits in my head since I was three years old. One of the things I loved about retail was helping people find their style and feel their best!!
IF YOU COULD ONLY EAT ONE MEAL FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Any kind of Italian pasta dish would have to be it, specifically Spicy Vodka pasta and a Caesar salad.
