WHO OR WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO GO INTO ADMINISTRATION?
After the countless hours of playing LEGOs as a kid and uncovering my abilities in math and science, I aspired to become a structural engineer while visiting the college of engineering. During my visit I met with a leader of the college who I still am in contact with and aspire to emulate to this day. This college visit is when I decided structural engineering was right for me!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE IN KNOXVILLE? WHY?

My favorite place is wherever my family is… No matter where we are it is sure to be an entertaining, fulfilling experience.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE BOOK OR MOVIE?

I am not a big book or movie person but I would say my favorite movie is Remember the Titans.


IF YOU COULD HAVE LUNCH WITH ANY ONE PERSON, WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
Thomas Jefferson. I think the Founding Fathers were some of the brightest people acting at a very pivotal time in shaping history. I would ask probably too many questions about how the Declaration was developed and his vision for America. We would need much more time than a lunch!


WHATS ON YOUR ‘BUCKET LIST?’
My wife and I would love to serve on a mission trip to Africa!

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO FOR FUN?
I love being outside, usually exercising or playing sports. My favorites are going for walks or bike rides with the kids or playing golf.

WHAT ARE YOU PASSIONATE ABOUT?
I am passionate about getting to know people – their stories and what matters to them. The engineering industry is about exploring how our expertise and connections can help the clients we serve. Building those connections and supporting others is very fulfilling to me.

IF YOU COULD ONLY EAT ONE MEAL FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Nachos! I love tortilla chips, the variability in topping choices, and I can’t think of a better way to get the recommended daily serving of vegetables 😊

Passionate, Driven, Dependable
