WHO OR WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO GO INTO ENGINEERING/DESIGN?
I was encouraged by my high school calculus teacher to pursue engineering. I decided on structural engineering because I love the idea of building up a community and having a hand in designing structures people use every day.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE IN KNOXVILLE? WHY?
My favorite place in Knoxville is the Market Square Farmers’ Market on summer Saturday mornings!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE BOOK OR MOVIE?
My favorite movie is The Proposal. It is such a classic.

IF YOU COULD HAVE LUNCH WITH ANY ONE PERSON, WHO WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
I would have lunch with my grandparents because I lost them when I was really young and know there was a lot I could have learned from them.

WHATS ON YOUR ‘BUCKET LIST?’
I would love to go on a long trip to Europe and explore a bunch of different countries there.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO FOR FUN?
I love to walk my dog Louie, travel, hang out with friends, and explore new spots around Knoxville with my fiancé.

I’m passionate about having a healthy lifestyle. I love to workout, cook, and spend time outside.
